As part of Thao Thao’s Lunar New Year celebrations, Studio Eden is hosting a special life drawing session inspired by the colour, energy and sense of renewal that defines the season.

Celebrate under the sign of the Fire Horse with a relaxed, welcoming evening of drawing, featuring a Southeast Asian model dressed in a traditional Vietnamese áo dài. The session honours the beauty and diversity of East and Southeast Asian culture, embracing themes of reflection, movement and fresh beginnings through a series of expressive, timed poses.

Open to all levels, this untutored session offers a calm, inclusive space to slow down, draw and connect as part of Margate’s wider Lunar New Year celebrations. We’ll begin with short poses at 7.30pm, take a short break, then move into longer poses before finishing at 9pm.

No experience is needed, and there’s never any pressure to share your work — though we’re always happy to offer gentle tips if helpful.
